The Canadian elections have come to an end and with is a major source of anxiety. The result was not exactly what I wanted, but Im pleased with the result and very very relieved.
Now let's get to the update
Work on the update is a little on the slower side unfortunately. There's a lot of backend coding I've been working on, cleaning up variables and finding a way to bugfix without asking people to restart their saves. It's all new to me so trying to figure it out is a lot of trial and error and reading. I think i have a system in place that should work.
I've updated Twine (2.10.0) and that comes with some changes to UI that needed to be handled with. Which I then took the opportunity to try and implement some things I've always wanted to add, but didn't know how:
For the chapter 1 update, the footer at the bottom will have a small directory to player stats and player inventory. I'm debating if I should also add cast down there, but I like the look of it at the moment. I'd like to see what people's opinion on it so far.

(on a side note, the social media logos have a stupid ugly arrow symbol next them. Does anyone know how to fix that? I hate it so much.)
Character Creation is finally done and i've been revising the first chunk of chapter 1. There isn't a lot of edits so far, but there will a small new scene with Linnet and her father after dinner that sets up a few things for later in the story.
I really wanted to get this update finished before the end of the month but that bronchial infection really beat the shit out of me. I'm still going to aim for a new update for early May! So please stay tune for more updates <3
