Rhino08 vs Fusion360

[Stream ended] I have no idea how to feel about Rhino so far. I think I went into it assuming it had a similar workflow to Fusion, and I was fairly wrong in that assumption x'D
I'm gonna watch a few tutorials, and see if I can parse it out more, but right now, this feels like I'd be going from Fusion to Blender or something, and that's not that great xD

I've been a very long time user of fusion 360, basically since it went public xD. But if you're on the discord you know I have a pretty abusive relationship with the program, so I've been trying a few different CAD programs in the background to see if anything vibes, and it looks like Rhino might be what I'm lookin' for so on suggestion from a friend I'm gonna blind run it on stream as a kinda "How do you get started with a CAD program" kinda thing. The VoD for which will be up on my Youtube afterward.

No idea how long this'll go for or if there's an intended goal in mind outside feeling the program out but let's give Rhino08 a shot. See if it can dethrone Fusion360 for me.
(which I would love nothing more honestly xD)

And a twitch~ The youtube is mostly just for stream VoDs, and I don't really have a schedule or anything for the twitch, but yeah those exist~ ~Pipes

Wait, you have a YT channel?

I don't know if you've seen the add-ons for Blender to make hard surface modelling easier (probably, but thought I'd shout them out anyway just in case). Two that seem to standout are: Fluent https://cgthoughts.gumroad.com/l/HtPBE Hardops https://superhivemarket.com/products/hard-ops--boxcutter-ultimate-bundle

I've already tried plasticity prior and it's far too new a program for me to want to switch from fusion to it XD

Poyper

You could also look into plasticity. I love Blender, but it is nothing like Fusion if thats what you are used to. Rhino is very different too, the only similar thing is it being a solid modeller and having parametric modelling options.
