2026-01-04 12:16:28 +0000 UTCin todays film range, no its not that scary, but for its time, this was iconic. i first saw this when i was young and it scared me! if i watched forst time as an adult i prob wouldnt be so scared. but its still such a great film and imo, what we know of halloran here, then doctor sleep, makes seeing him, already knowing his fate, in welcome to derry that much better. and really expands much more on what the shine really is like.
