March Update!

Greetings Space Citizens!

Welcome back folks! It's been a little while hasn't it? The long winter hibernation is finally over and the coffee is flowing freely. So what's in store this patch?

There's a new quest for Mr. Gifted, the first of five! These are intended to be repeatable and we'll be rolling out the rest in short order. In addition, we've got a whole boatload of fixes and improvements. Thanks in particular go out to Dole on Discord for reporting a bunch of bugs!

Next patch y'all can look forward to the main batch of Mr. Gifted quests, the final implementation of the rent system with special appearances by your fave duo, and some major technical improvements!

For now, enjoy the coming of Spring and the blossoming of hope - or a good strong drink. Maybe all of the above?! 🧉

Major Updates:

• New quest for Mr. Gifted.
• Five new music tracks.

Adjustments:

• New probability system for exploration based quests. Should be much more accurate and less buggy.
• Loans no longer require positive ship reputation.
• Choice menu fall animation is no longer random. All buttons should now hit in order.
• Raised ceiling for player dying from having too many drinks.
• All old Mr. Gifted content migrated to new system and cleaned up.
• Replaced end dialogue emoji with hourglass.
• Added two new choice menu emojis for looping and info dialogue options. (limited implementation for now)
• New ATLs for various quests.
• Added some missing sound effects in Sully's second quest.

Fixes:

• Fixed bug in mail sorting system that caused a number of messages to not fire. A bunch of Sully messages should now appear.
• Fixed bug that caused Power Gauntlets (mod) to award nothing.
• Fixed bug that caused Boots (mod) awarding an unused stat (speed) instead of Body.
• Fixed crash caused in Vending Mechanics when player already has 5 in a given stat.
• Fixed crash caused by rolling over or under the stat limit during sleep after having drinks/eating.
• Fixed Sully getting stuck behind some dialogue boxes during his second quest.
