The beta for our June update has arrived! This month we focused entirely on overhauling and tweaking how the game functions. There are a ton changes!
The vast majority of these were focused on making items and mods work in a buttery smooth way. Along with that we overhauled how shops work! While you might not find any massive alterations in your game experience it should now run a lot smoother and be far more stable too!
Lastly, and in some ways more importantly, many bugs were smashed! We fixed all sorts of long-standing issues that passed under the radar for a while. The list is extensive so be sure to check it out in the patch notes.

Major
- Overhaul of items and mods with a whole bunch of changes!
Extras
- Added mature content option in Preferences menu.
- Removed rollback options in Preferences menu.
- Changed how the game handles UI visibility and insensitive status.
- The main theme now fades in from initial splash screen.
- Added debug options for stats and removed initial debug xp bonus.
- Added debug option for making the UI sensitive/insensitive during quests.
- Added debug option to sleep menu for manually setting the day and month.
- Removed debug items.
- Ship Calendar now uses a 13-month system. The last month is called “Holiday“.
- Buy/Sell renamed to Install/Remove in Mad Eddy’s.
- Mods no longer give credits when selling/removing.
- UI mod order changed in shops and charmenu.
- Close button in shops should be more obvious now.
- Shops now renew their credit balance once a week.
- Shops no longer carry stacks of items (they are infinite).
- Some items are now unsellable (key items).
- Systemic mods no longer count toward the Body stat.
- Updated job titles.
- Added new morning emails.
- Added new dev-team memorials.
- Some Updates to mini quests.
- Fixed shops going into debt to buy your crap.
- Fixed genshop showing +0 for items that cannot be sold.
- Fixed bug where adding more than one item simultaneously could cause the inventory to break.
- Fixed bug that allowed the Player to buy a mod they already own.
- Fixed bug that caused the game to crash during ‘Pancakes at Home’.
- Fixed bug in ‘Vending Mechanics’ that blocked quest progression.
- Fixed bug that allowed for negative stats.
- Fixed bug when buying and selling foot mods repeatedly.
- Fixed incorrect naming of Merchant.
