I know Agrona’s official character design is the main event, but I wanted to reveal Tessia(...Cecilia?) as well.
Hope you all like it! The scene that was brought to life is from Chapter 373:
A pearlescent oval opened over the arena floor, twenty feet in front of the high box.
Kiros frowned.
Two figures stepped through.
The first was someone I had never seen in person before, but I knew him instantly, and the mere sight of him was enough to sober me from my fatigue.
Agrona’s horns splayed out from his head like an elk’s, the dozens of sharp black points ornamented with chains and rings. He had strong, sharp features that reminded me uncomfortably of Sylvie.
The second, I was less prepared for.
Comments
The way Agrona has his hands in his pockets, with thumbs out, is so casual and informal, at least in our modern society, it just doesn’t look right. I would have expected something more militaristic or formal (like hands behind his back or cupped together in the front or something). I’m not surprised that TurtleMe made Agrona look like a 20-something year old model though, and that the majority of the other Asura we see will similarly look uncharacteristically young. It only creeps me out more when I think about Agrona’s developing relationship with Cecilia.

I think it still looks amazing, but I wonder if turtleme views the artwork as being the final rendition or just a possible version to reference for when the comic gets to this point. I thought more gaudy hahaha but I figured he’d be attractive since all the women had zero problems with him slithering up them and touching them especially Cecilia with his digging around in her brain constantly. No way she’d let some creeper looking dude do that regardless of strength

Arthur, Regis, Sylvie, Ellie and Boo. The wraiths. The scythes. Family portraits, etc. We can have a poll or a suggestion box of moments for the art book. Tessa/Cecilia was totally a shock, did not expect her to look like that 😅. This image is a Master piece. Absolutely love it. I hope we can get an image of the Djins eventually or my boy Alaric 😏

Total confidence, striding forward, fierce expression, she gives off the impression that mana bends to her every whim and she’s here to curbstomp the guy who bullied her boyfriend and ruined their past life together. I expected Agrona to be a bit more imposing, but I suppose he’s canonically a goth nerd who loves science lol. Also an immortal deity. Jokes aside, they really nailed the aloof disinterest he has - and he looks every part the immortal king of the basilisk race.
