this world is exactly as cold as it seems. would could find aliens, infinite energy, or the 4th dimension and we'd *still* never feel satisfied or whole.... But.. ..we can offer a fleeting look at contentedly viewing our lives through the lens of happiness. we're here for you, girl. maybe not in the right way, maybe not in the best way, but in some kind of way...we're here to help share the load of life...or something. I dunno.

It seems redundant to say that things have been hard for everyone but it's true; we're all experiencing a strange and unique amount of suffering together, and we're getting hurt in new ways. I'm so sorry that particular hurt happened to you, losing your place is unimaginably hard, but I'm so glad you're safe now. Hopefully the new walls are getting comfortable and treating you well, and I hope you find your drive within them, however much time you need. <3 I saw someone else reach over and touch their wall, I did the same when you said to. it's cold brick that used to be part of the outside before it was modified into an additional room, and since I've lived here this room has always been the comforting social space of the house where friends and family stay. It's been very empty these past two years but me and the room keep each other company, and it's where I do my voice calls so it's not as lonely as it could be~
