Engines (and yes there are turbo chargers)

Probably the most important component for improving performance in your key truck is the engine.

Base Engines

The first of the 3 engines is the 356cc AK250E I4, which comes as standard on the Daizo T-360 kei truck.

The 356cc AK250E I4 has the following base stats*:

Base Horse Power - 35
Base Max Torque - 22nM
Base RPM - 8500 RPM
Carburettors - 4/4
Oil Capacity - 3.5ltr

Condition - 100%
Weight - 62.95kg
Value - ¥34,315

The second engine is the 547cc E05A I3, which is an engine that needs to be found on abandoned Kusahiro, purchased from scrap part dealers, or found on route.

The 547cc E05A I3has the following base stats*:

Base Horse Power - 54
Base Max Torque - 44nM
Base RPM - 6500 RPM
Carburettors - 3/3
Oil Capacity - 3.5ltr

Condition - 100%
Weight - 71.13kg
Value - ¥41,178

The third of the 3 engines is the 356cc N360E I2, which is an engine that needs to be found on abandoned Kusahiro, purchased from scrap part dealers, or found on route.

The 356cc N360E I2 has the following base stats*:

Base Horse Power - 47
Base Max Torque - 29.4nM
Base RPM - 8500 RPM
Carburettors - 2/2
Oil Capacity - 3.5ltr

Condition - 100%
Weight - 59.80kg
Value - ¥37,746

*Stats to be balanced and adjusted as the game develops.

Keiko can lift up engines by hand for ease of use. Though I'll probably still add an engine hoist at some point just so players can work on the engine outside of the truck.

Turbo When?

yes.

Cheers,
Greg

It depends on the carburettors fitted to the engine. It's more economical by pure fact there are less carburettors fitted, but if an I4 had 4 good quality carburettors it'd likely run more efficient than an I2 with an exposed engine or some poorly kept carburettors.

Will the 356cc I2 be more efficient than the stock I4 since it has less carburettors?

Battery, Doors, Fuel Tanks, Ignition Coils, Radiator, Transmission, Water Tank, Wheel (tyres) all only have one base variant. Though I think we can launch a demo without them. The issue I am tackling this week is that launching a demo without graphical settings and keyboard remapping is probably a bad idea, so I'm focused on implementing that right now. After that I need to lock off the vending machine gameplay loop as it's not ready for testing. The demo is meant to focus on running routes and upgrading the truck so I can get immediate feedback.

what parts are left to add before the variations are done for first demo?
