I'm currently working on a video that's a bit different to what I usually do, and I'm not sure how long it will take, so I have decided to make a smaller video parallel to it. It has to be a quicker project, like a weapon or some kind of prop or single item, and I figured why not find out what you guys would like to see.
Feel free to suggest multiple things at once. Even if ideas won't make it for next video, I can still keep it in mind with the projects I choose to do afterwards, when I don't have to worry as much about time efficiency.

Shivering Felspine is such a memorable weapon for me, and it makes me sad that it is still so low-poly with so much detail in the texture

Warcraft wouldn't be warcraft without tribalism about whether we picked a race from the little row on the left or the one on the right :D Cataclysm is indeed one of those grey areas for remasters, since honestly so much of it holds up very well to this day. Wrath is a bit more of a mixed bag. Your enthausiasm spurred me to have another look at Val anyr, and tbh it looks a lot more detailed than I remember, which makes me wonder if they quietly updated the texture res at some point, since they have done that before with old items. Isn't that hard for them given they probably have all the high res versions of every texture saved. I would still love to do something with it at some point though, cause it's just such a sick weapon. I also agree with you that the design is hard to read in game. So many small bits and bobs on an already small weapon. Maybe I could make a vid where I just push it way beyond even modern wow's level of detail :)

As far as the ram, they already pretty much updated them with the anniverary event, which makes it tricky to find a way to do a video with them. They stayed super loyal to the original as well. I wanna still see if I could make something work tho just cause they're so sick As far as Dwarven armor and weapons, I wanna have a shot at maybe some heritage weapons someday. I've never done my own designs, so it might be a cool experiment. If I do, Dwarves are a very strong contender since their design style is so strong. Doing a mountaineer set is also a really cool idea :)

Rhok and Krol Blade are also definitely weapons I wanna do someday. Krol Blade shouln't be too hard either, so maybe I could do 1 vid with a few of Classics simpler skins

I think that actually doing some kind of challenge like a fish weapon, but doing my own design to see if I could make something sick would be really cool to try out someday. I also really like your idea of doing the IF anvil. It's so iconic

2023-09-07 18:08:39 +0000 UTCVAL'ANYR VAL'ANYR VAL'ANYR :D Dragonwrath probably doesn't need AS much cleanup--so might be a bit faster than Val'anyr--but I really feel like you can bring Val'anyr to life that will transcend even the original vision while still being completely faithful to it. I actually spent quite some time after I obtained it trying to determine what exactly I was even looking at, which was super disappointing. Even now, being a holy pally main since BC, I hesitate to mog it because of that, and that makes me die a little inside. PS I am absolutely going to give you shit about any hint of Alliance bias, because I can, unless you decide to yeet me off Patreon over it. Which would honestly be fair lol

2023-09-07 15:28:19 +0000 UTCVal'anyr and Dragonwrath are great ideas :) As far as Silvermoon trees, updating zones is something I have actually considered doing, but I would have to do a bunch of prep work to make sure I don't lose control over the scope and end up spending 10x longer than planned haha As far as Alliance bias, I was actually thinking about doing the R14 2h sword for Horde, as it mirrors nicely to the previous vid and has a pretty simple design. I've always loved that one, but idk if others agree

For some deep-seated blood elf nostalgia, I would love to see Blood-Tempered Ranseur (not the Shadowlands poser version lol). Also anything from any starting zone would be awesome. Could you consider giving the Silvermoon trees some love? They are so beautiful but the two flat planes of "leaves" make me so sad. Side note: I'd love to see you branch out from Alliance bias. Get it? Branch out? :D
