Tiers, Content, and Changes.

Hello, my dudes! I've been pretty busy lately so I haven't been anywhere as active as I'd like.

Original Work Only!

I'm finishing my transition to purely WIP original content on Patreon this month. 

That means if you're subbed for early drafts of Just Deserts, or Seeking Direction this is the month for you guys to unsubscribe. From now on there will be a single public release a month on all the normal places I post on (FF, RR, SB, etc,) and you'll have to wait for the public release alongside everyone else.

Original Work and KDP Select

As you guys are probably aware, I've been transitioning my completed original stuff(Systematic Soul Sorting, Golden Sole, Reroll, Dragon's Marble, Etc) onto KDP(Because I'm a poor starving writer and I need the money😂.) which requires a backlog of work, and KDP works on exclusivity. This has been slow going because I wanted to wait until the end of the year, but here we are.

I've been thinking of bringing Ameliorate down into the lower tiers for a while now because someone suggested it to me a few months back. So it's coming down to mirror Contentions rollout, mostly because I don't want you guys to have to keep paying $10 for only a single chapter of Ameliorate a month. 5000 words is a lot of effort from my side, but from the readers perspective it must feel pretty shitty, so we're going to fix that.

WIP Content and Restructuring the Tiers!

Writing in Progress are going to be the main content on Patreon from here on out. That means ongoing works, one-shots, and original concept stuff. 

I'm going to restructure the tiers to better reflect these changes. I think it's going to be just the $1(AUD) and $5(AUD) ones from here on out, which means you EX-Rank heroes are being demoted to S-Rank if you choose to stay around. I think that works out better for me and you guys as a whole. So once I get around to doing that, expect the $10 tier to vanish into the ether.

It will look something like this;

A-Rank - $1(AUD)

• Ameliorate - 1 Chapter Early Access.
• Contention - 1 Chapter Early Access.
• Ongoing rewrites/edits.

S-Rank - $5(AUD)

• Ameliorate - 2 Chapter Early Access.
• Contention - 2 Chapter Early Access.
• Ongoing rewrites/edits.
• One-Shots.
• Concept Stories.

Concept Stories!

I have a whole host of original stories sitting on my digital shelf gathering dust. Some have as little as a schematic, some have a concept chapter completed, and some have like 5+ chapters, alongside most of the worldbuilding stuff, timelines written out for them.

Heavy Edits/Rewrites!

Reroll is still undergoing its heavy edit phase and by the gods, it's a slog. I've broken it up into three distinct books. 

Book 1(1-26) is going to have 7 chapters, which means that I'm combining multiple chapters into 12k+ behemoths. Most of the work here is going into matching the earlier tone to the rest of Reroll, as we are all aware that it gets a lot darker as it goes along. Removing some of the absurdity/comedic relief stuff that felt out of place and tightening up the characters. I've only managed to complete 2 chapters(30k words) of the edit so far, but already there's an additional  8k word on top of what was already there. 😭
