Hi all, just wanted to give you guys an update.

I haven't been releasing many stories this month; there are a few reasons for that. The foremost is that I've been hard at work on some stuff that, while it won't be available immediately, will pay dividends down the road.

The script for Dire Straights 2 is complete after much hard work, and it will be nearly double the size of the previous comic - thirteen pages plus a cover. When it comes out (December or January) you guys and gals will get one month of exclusive access to it before anyone else.

In addition, I've worked on several other collaborative projects that are either available elsewhere or yet to be published, featuring artists you all would recognize. One of them was audio scripts for the series I'm doing with VoiceLikeCandy, "Candy's Cock Worship". If you haven't seen it, here's the teaser image by Fellatrix:

You can listen to the full audio episodes (there are four of them so far) on Candy's Patreon and Gumroad, but there are also some pretty meaty free teasers on her Twitter.

This was all done in addition to the usual comic scripts and lettering pages for SQS. So if it seems like there's a lull, rest assured, I've been busy preparing content for you all.

There are other factors, too. One thing that's been going on is that I'm trying to quit smoking again. For those of you who might be unfamiliar with this unfortunate habit, you know how miserable this is. Withdrawal makes writing much more difficult. In addition, the finale of "Bigger", besides being pretty dark and difficult to write, ended up being like... 20,000 words. That's a lot. It really took a lot of creative energy out of me and I had to take some time to recharge my batteries. That's on the heels of the last original, Minotaur Next Door, which ended up at 17,000.

I'm looking forward to sitting down and writing some quicker, tighter stuff in October, both commissions (of which there will be many) and originals. I'm about one week behind - anything expected to be out by the end of September will be first week of October. From there it's just a matter of grinding. Sit down, write 2000 words/day until everything is done and everyone is happy. I'm aiming to release at least six stories in October, which depending on the number of commission bank cashes will also include the winner of the last Story Poll.

So, that's where things stand. Please look forward to more stories, Dire Straights 2, more pages of SQS Ch. 3, and [unannounced collab I can't talk about yet because it depends entirely on the artist's schedule - the script is done though]
