thoughts about what content i should be posting here

i've been thinking about solely posting the work here that i dont post anywhere else instead of just early stuff, because i tend to get impatient and post the commissions publically right away. if i do that, there's not much benefit for patrons to be subbed. so i have another idea - to post only the work here that i do not post anywhere else. and they say that if you have a big project, to not talk about it and to keep it secret.

i have a big comic project planned and i was thinking to keep that less public and post it here as i work on it and shift the focus of patreon work to mostly things that i cannot post publically yet. i wanna keep this comic on the down-low, thus it is perfect for the focus of my patreon. i want to keep this comic sort of private as i work on it. so i think what i will do is post the comic pages here on patreon.

basically the comic, which has yet to be titled, is based on an old comic i made in 2016 that i decided to dredge out of the depths and re-draw in its entirety. the full comic is about 28 pages, 32 including concept art. back then i printed out copies and sold a few at zine fairs, but it was sort of meh. this was when i was in college. i am very embarassed of the old comic but if people are interested i can post old pics. i wanna definitely release the old one too when i'm done with the new one as sort of like a bonus thing.

the satisfying thing though is re-drawing my old art with a 6 years' improvement. maybe when i am all done it would be a nice case study and maybe motivating for other people to show the improvement over the years.

anyways, you have probably seen pencil drawings of a demon-human character with big boobs and spiral tattoos. this is the protag. so, i guess this probably makes the entire comic nsfw ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. maybe i will make a version with clothes this time to make it more acceptable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

sorry for rambling. typing this on my phone while lyin on the couch. but yeah.

i dont really have a deadline but a single page usually takes a week, maybe less. if i only work on a page it could take 2 days. the thing i just drew took like 3-ish but i did most of the work over thanksgiving at my parents house. we shall see. i think it is doable. so, 30 weeks maybe. maybe a little more because i might redo pages a third time. because i was looking at one of the newer pages and still felt iffy about it.

but yeah. that's that.
