Photo Paintovers + Commission Work

Meeps, heya!

I finished that photo paintover from last time and people seem to like it more than I thought they would....so I decided to follow it up with a similar project right away. This time I'm using a photo I took of some random shoes that someone put on the ground in Hanover. I was initially just trying to capture someone walking into the frame, so I could depict different life stages of footwear. I didn't anticipate the guy in the background and his reaction, though. I'm not sure, whether he was just feeling awkward about spotting my phone or if he was confused about me crawling on the floor in front of some worn out, dirty shoes to get the desired angle. That must have looked as dorky as it sounds.

I was pretty happy with the composition, humor and colors overall, but the image quality was so overwhelmingly bad that it ruined the photo for me- perfect conditions for a paintover. ✨👌

Can't wait to finish it!

Aside from that, I've also been working on commissions. Arany and my commissioner's character Yuri can't tell whose shorts are whose, because they have the same design. :b

Finally, here's also a little WIP of the next commission I'm working on, which plays into my own likes a lot...can't go wrong with a cute bird guy being cute and sexy, wearing undies. uwu
