Current commission work + color concepts

I haven't had much time for drawing due to some extended family time I had in Denmark. Whenever I'm exploring new places, I use the opportunity to look at my surroundings to pick up some knowledge, though. Be it observing the way different light sources affect the environment or getting a better grasp at composition and finding inspiration through photography. I even randomly ran into another furry at their store, which prompted me to doodle them a little freebie along the way. Gotta love coincidental furry encounters. :D
I also finished another paw-themed commission for Danny Dumal. It's become a little challenging for me to come up with distinctive paw-focused angles and poses, so I'm all the happier that it worked on this one! Have a little look at some early color concepts for it, too. I feel like they look a little more menacing than the final result, due to the expressions. :'>
Last but not least, I'm stoked to be working on this commission for my good friend SHimmortal AKA Shia Mortalis. I've been having so much fun with more aquatic themes for a while, and this one lets me explore water reflections, soaked clothes, rain and a moody atmosphere in a way I've never painted before. As you can see, I'm still figuring out a fun color scheme. :)
