Happy New Year! ...+ New Works

Happy new year, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and will get to enjoy a productive, healthy, peaceful and successful 2025!

My life has been crazy busy, BUT I'm using my time as productively as I can and am excited about learning and improving more as I go.

In terms of artwork, there are a few things to share.

My final painting of the year goes to my great friend Cerulean, who let me work his new character, Echo. They the ability to make themselves invisible and I felt like conveying that in a more metaphorical way, using water ripples to cause some visual distortion. I don't think I've drawn that before and - together with the unusual angle/perspective - it made for a really exciting and fun challenge. Also adding 2 slightly older, unfinished versions with somewhat different color schemes, 'cause why not.

You may have already seen my new icon, but here's also a first attempt of drawing one (which I totally butchered, I don't even know what happened there XD) as well as another concept doodle for it. Neither of which I've shared online.

The wintery piece is actually based on a quick sketch book doodle that I did for my nephew. The lack of furriness on that one allowed me to focus more on just shapes and expression, which was a fun little excursion.

And finally I decided that I wanted to redraw a few parts of that Arany flat coloring pic. Less is more oftentimes and I much prefer this updated version. :)

I'll keep skipping payments here until I feel like I have a worthy enough output to charge, but thank you for your support! <3
