The plane probably wouldn't have broken apart quite that easily. Wings are very flexible. 6 miles is about 10km. Spinal injuries vary a lot, from what I can tell. Though Batman's recovery is probably really quick. This movie always made me feel like he would be in pretty much constant pain. I always thought that rope in the pit was part of what kept people from making it up. Not just the weight of it making the jump harder, but actually being too short. Looked very tight on the first try. The earlier(90s?) Batman movies do have some more villain backstory, from what I remember. Had some problems hearing what was said in the movie sometimes, though I do have a fan going on full speed. Really enjoying re-watching movies with you. Your strong reactions make me feel the movies more deeply, I think.
