Strongest In DxD - Chapter 90

A huge impact appeared exactly where Ren had been standing a few seconds ago.

When the cloud of dust subsided it was revealed that the person standing there was Sairaorg Bael.

The Bael heir had no visible injuries on his body, but he had an extremely angry look on his face.

In fact, angry was not enough, he was furious.

Sairaorg's eyes roved over the members of his Nobility and he saw the state everyone was in.

"Sairaorg-sama" said Kuisha, the only one who was conscious, weakly.

"Rest Kuisha, I will take care of everything" said Sairaorg smiling at his [Queen] who fainted.

Sairaorg's gentle eyes turned to Ren with a fury that had never been seen on his face before.

"I will kill you!" shouted Sairaorg with such hatred that it made Ren laugh.

Seeing the gentle and calm Bael heir act this way brought a smile to Ren's face.

"Don't say such strong words, it makes you look weak," Ren said in derision.

Sairaorg's eyes narrowed in fury.

"Regulus" roared Sairaorg as his voice reverberated through the region.

The earth shook slightly and when Ren saw Regulus, now in his lion form, he had jumped up and stood beside his master.

"He has a quick recovery, I guess that would be as expected of an Independent Avatar type Sacred Gear" thought Ren internally.

"My master, I was not able to protect them" said the Lion King bitterly.

"Don't bother with that, now let's finish him off" said Sairaorg seriously.

"Yes!"

Then Sairaorg's [Touki] and Regulus' aura exploded from their bodies as they grew larger and larger.

"Balance Breaker!"

An intense burst of golden power covered Ren's vision as it fully joined in Sairaorg and Regulus.

And as it disappeared Sairaorg was revealed wearing a large golden lion-themed armor that covered his entire body.

"Balance Breaker, huh..." said Ren smiling slightly.

What Ren expected at this moment was that Sairaorg would move against him, however what happened was not that.

Sairaorg's body began to accumulate more and more aura as his power increased.

"Ohhh, you expect to accumulate power to defeat me?" asked Ren with interest.

The huge smile on Sairaorg's face was proof of his determination to beat Ren.

"Yes, me with my avatar, the Regulus Lion!"

[Yes! If your body wants, destroy them with that divine body!]

Responding to his master's call, the lion's eyes in his chest unleashed a blinding light. His touki increased again and filled the entire space.

Sairaorg then recited the chant of power.

"This body, this soul, even if it falls into an endless ravine!"

The lion then said.

[My Lord and I, we will exhaust this body and this soul to endlessly climb the royal road!]

"Ruja! Triumph! Massacre! And, shine!"

[That body is of a Demonic beast!]

"Lodged upon my fist is the glorious imperial authority!"

His touki made an intense cyclone and blew everything in the area with such great pressure that even the trees were torn out of the ground. The purple flowers that were found all around followed the wind and danced around Sairaorg.

"-Dance!"

[-Dance!]

While wrapped in touki, Sairaorg's body swelled even more.

"[-Breakdown The Beast, Climb Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]"

With that last breath, he opened up! There it was - a majestic being, the armor of a highly aggressive lion. It was new armor with a two-tone gold and purple appearance. The gold armor was accompanied by a purple touki that enveloped Sairaorg.

Such a dense amount of power emanated from his body and even suppressed the sacred light emanating from Ren's body.

As he saw such power an immense smile broke out on Ren's face.

"That... the awakening of supremacy" said Ren smiling.

[Confirmed; the individual Sairaorg has just released the "Breakdown The Beast" form]

Even without confirmation from [King of Wisdom Raphael], Ren already knew what had happened.

Breakdown The Beast, the final form of Sacred Gear [Regulus Nemea] had been revealed to the world.

Sairaorg had temporarily released all of Regulus' sealed power that was present in his Sacred Gear. It was a form that only a Sacred Gear with a legendary demonic beast could have... but it was also accompanied by great risk. Like the release of the Sacred Gears that the Two Heavenly Dragons were sealed - Juggernaut Drive, the user's life would be consumed after activating it. Moreover, the effects had already appeared when Sairaorg spat blood from his mouth. Gritting his teeth hard, Sairaorg shouted.

"Regulus Rey Leather Rex Imperial Purpure, Beast of Supremacy. This is the embodiment of my destruction that has been pushed to the limits. With my life force as its source, it provides a temporary burst of power... well, although it is a fist that does not possess the [Power of Destruction], I will give the 'Destruction' to you" shouted Sairaorg.

"Come" said Ren with an immense smile.

In an instant Sairaorg disappeared while advancing at a speed that was impossible for mortal eyes to see.

But for Ren it was as if he was in slow motion, one of Raphael's abilities was [Thought Acceleration] so Ren could process things at a speed that could never be possible, the limit was a million times normal speed.

However even without this, Ren could still perceive Sairaorg with ease.

The Lion King in an instant appeared in front of Ren while having his fist raised and striking Ren.

Just like last time, Ren raised his Spear to defend himself and the blow was intercepted by the Sacred Spear.

However, the force of the blow was so great that Ren was sent flying far away.

Sairaorg quickly prepared to move forward, due to the effects of his new form Sairaorg knew he had little time to win this fight.

However before he could advance Sairaorg fell to his knees while spitting blood.

Looking down Sairaorg saw a deep gash in his abdomen, his blood was leaking and the burning due to the holy element was causing Sairaorg to almost faint.

If he was a normal demon he would already be dead due to receiving a blow from the ultimate holy weapon, however due to the power he received in the [Breakdown of the Beast] form he was able to resist and stay conscious.

It seemed that Ren had time to attack Sairaorg and still defend himself in the small fraction of a second from the blow.

Frankly Sairaorg doubted that he was really human.

Sairaorg's eyes quickly turned upward as he saw Ren advancing against him.

Swinging his spear, Ren released several beams made of sacred energy against Sairaorg.

Strengthening his fists with his [Touki] and literally punched Ren's attacks nullifying them.

Seeing this, Ren quickly maneuvered in the air while coming down with his spear for a blow.

Sairaorg raised his arms as he defended the blow.

Even so an immense pressure was generated and the surrounding ground cracked due to the power of the blow.

Sairaorg quickly increased his aura and caused Ren to be sent backwards.

In one swift movement the Lion King concentrated his aura into his fist as he advanced to strike Ren.

But unlike what Sairaorg expected, Ren didn't try to dodge or strike with his spear.
