The great city of Ker-Ys was the jewel of the North, a powerful city where the Bediz and the Fae lived together, achieving great things. But treachery and hate brought destruction to the Beacon City, and a great storm sank it beneath the waves. Only Ahes Dahut, the Princess of Kernev, remained, trapped by a powerful curse in the form of a mermaid in the silent city beneath the waves. Driven by her loneliness, Ahes sought to recreate the spell that cursed her, transforming other lonely souls into mermaids, rebuilding her city and her family.

Aisha min Iram was once a paladin, dedicating herself to protecting the innocent against otherworldly threats. But a series of betrayals destroyed all she had built, first when a treacherous King destroyed her order, then when the woman she loved betrayed her, pushing her into the sea. Aisha was saved by the Marie-Morgane, becoming the leader of the Beg-Sabrenn, the swords of Ys, finding a new purpose in defending her new home and sisters. Of course, she still harbors some feelings and resentments to the past, and sometimes takes the time for a little bit of fun.

Aisha is one of the more directly involved of the Marie-Morgane, a former friend to Kathalia Bisclavret and one of the more recent additions to Ys-Beneath-the-Waves. Aisha won't pass up an opportunity to make a certain redhead jealous.
