Vanessa Biography

Name: Vanessa

Age: 20

Bio: Vanessa's first memories are of sitting in a circle in an orphanage. All she knows about her biological parents is that they dropped her off at the orphanage themselves and never came back for her, a fact which left her hurt and bitter for a long time. The orphanage took care of her, and the other children, as best they could; but like many institutions they were underfunded and understaffed so Vanessa didn't have the best childhood.

Some time after her seventh birthday, long after she had given up being adopted, due to seeing only the youngest of her peers ever being picked by families, she was picked for adoption by a couple, Matthias and Logan. After a harduous adoption process, she went home with them, still confused and suspicious as to why they picked her over a younger child. Eventually though, Vanessa managed to let her guard down, and learned how to love her new parents, much like they learned to love her. 

She was placed in a regular school, and while she did not excel she managed to be amongst the top in a few of her classes.
Logan decided to sign Vanessa up for a sport once she became a teenager, uninterested, Vanessa picked surfing on a whim, but quickly became a fan, practicing it to this day. 

Vanessa's life turned around, she learned how to stop being on edge and began living a happy, fulfilling, carefree life with a loving family and many friends. Now, after highschool, she decided to study architecture, however she doesn't quite feel ready to drop her nonchalant lifestyle.

Likes: Family and friends, social media, light caramel frappes with chocolate flakes

Dislikes: Busy work, mean and abusive people, feeling trapped

Hobbies: Surfing, shopping, sleeping
