I don't do a lot of car stuff, as I live in Brooklyn. But when I lived out along island to help my mom, do garage floor paint and made the whole room look a lot nicer right away. Anyway, I'm just wondering if you have a long-term plan for the wiring, insulation, painting, and any other odds and ends.

Are you allowed to do electrical work by yourself in the US (I assume because you are)? Not allowed in Sweden unfortunately, only qualified electricians... By the way, doesn't that mean you could do a third DIY light box with your extra bulb? :D
