A Brief Update - Some Free Lore

Hi everyone! We apologize for no posting in June. My wife and I were in the process of moving and setting up, but now that things are sauntering towards normalcy, I can finally get back to this! My hope is we'll have that new lore vid soon, and also have a wonderful new bloopers vid + A "Meet the Characters," style video to allow new fans to be caught up to speed with who is who, as well as a few more things!

We've also just finished episode 4 of 6 with season 1 of our new series "The Cage" and expect it to be ready to release within 2 months.

Allow me to apologize for the silence, I cannot thank you all enough for sticking around and for diving over every piece of lore, every post, and video, it truly means the world!


Now you may be wondering, to those that haven't seen the posts, but who is the individual on the screen? Well allow me to introduce them, with a free bit of lore.


LORE

No matter how powerful, how well trained, how unwavering in faith, nor skilled. All Death Guard pay loyalty, respect, admiration and fear to Yukon Iotan. The oldest living member of the Death Guard still in active service. To live as a hunter of Demon, Devil, Monster and Mutant does not guarantee a long life. But many whisper in the dark halls of the Death Guard that Master Iotan has lived for at least two hundred years.

Every recruit passes through Master Iotan's "Hell-Course" at least once, and it is here that their strength, skill, and instincts are tested till they break. But it is done so out of care, for Master Iotan sees every Death Guard as his own sons and daughters. Ruthlessly fighting to ensure that they who have to chosen to serve with him, may one day know peace. He, more than any, has seen the horrors lurking in the ever growing Abyss; the pain caused by deals from the Devils of Hells, and the grotesqueness of that which prowls through the Far Realm. He wishes only for his own to be strong enough to face these horrors with unwavering strength and courage.

Stories and rumors from within the Halls of the Death Guard recount tales of Master Iotan felling everything from Archfiends, Greater Demons, Mind Flayers and even Dragons in his long life. Though as Master Iotan refuses to brag or recount his tales, few but the Archivist, the Oldest member of the Death Guard who chronicles their exploits and bestiary, truly know the extent of his adventures.

When the Cataclysm was over, the Death Guard suffered many losses. It's surviving members have since vanished into hiding, taking jobs where they can to remain secret, while still participating in the hunt of straggling Demons or beasts of Hell. The Merchant Princes and Emperor Drakenblood, who knew of the Death Guard and called upon its aid, have yet to even verify if Master Iotan lives. But those that survived and still hunt in the world have faith. Faith that their Father still walks, and hunts.
