Delayed Input 602 Post-Show Assessment

This was a weird episode. Obviously my distraught intro, while not most of the runtime, sort of set the tone for the whole thing. It's what most of the comments are about, and if we're being real is probably the reason ep 602 set the new record for lowest view count. 

It became the Long Intro + Nice to Old Games thing really deep into the regular process, I really kinda collapsed at the end there. I even had my overalls and space shirt on, and I saw my reflection, which was Very Silly, and it felt super off. I wonder if I was this chilled-out mindful kind of person who meditates frequently that I would have realized how I was feeling sooner and probably could have made a more normal episode. I don't regret what I said but I feel like a real pro could have done it in 15 seconds. I don't like to appear as Actual Emotional Kyle on camera but in that moment it was really all I was capable of. 

It's funny though, there's a comment that says "Before the end of the summer even, that intro will have aged like warm greek yogurt." and I'm like, I'm not making movies bro. This was this week's video, next week will bring next week's video. This stuff is supposed to age. Next week's ep on Sony's big State of Play will age immediately too, and that's actually reassuring to me. I frequently say this here--Delayed Input is a constant work in progress.

Out of these 3 games, which one would you like to see get a reboot?
I know Congo is the obvious answer, but there's something about being a guy named Oozie fending off coffee shop ambushes on Police Street that I think could still work today.

So right now I'm planning to use the hype that Final Fantasy XVI will surely generate as material for a good joke inside Delayed Input. Like a pun about Chocobos or something?
