This was a weird week. Capcom made a short trailer, I made a short video, I'll try to make this a short little post too.

I guess what stands out to me looking at this video are the slight differences between Casual Kyle and Delayed Input Kyle. It is mostly wardrobe and microphone choice, but I think there's something else there. Maybe it's less "Hi guys, I'm hosting a SHOW" vibes. There's something that happens at the end when I'm pushing this dumb yellow crayon take until you can tell I'm exhausted by it too, it's like you're watching someone in that moment suddenly realize how ridiculous this entire format is.

I have this weird feeling that just like how almost 20 years ago YouTube felt fresh for tearing down the formality of television, that there's still some weird formalities in YouTubey videos that can still be stripped away. Or at least explored through mockery?

Anyway Delayed Input Kyle will return next week. I've got my fashion theme nailed down but I've failed once again to find a proper replacement for my grey photography backdrop. I expect Elden Ring will still be the talk of the town in seven days, but I'm not sure what angle I should take here. How do we feel about "Top 5 Horny Occurrences in Elden Ring"? I'm thinking that or some sort of video that has a good joke in it.
