Inspired by this episode, I decided to introduce my 5yo daughter to Pokemon cards, and it has been a truly wonderful experience. It’s not just the fun of cracking packs, but the way she is learning to store and organise cards (types, evolutions, etc.) and take pride in her collection. It’s a big deal to her, and it has even motivated her to try and read things well above her level. I hadn’t opened a pack of cards in almost 20 years, and I’m surprised by how positive the experience can be for young kids (under parental guidance). It’s even encouraged her to become a little industrious with wanting to earn pocket money to fund the hobby herself. There really is something special about Pokemon. Thanks, Kyle.
2021-08-20 13:28:40 +0000 UTCI' not a huge Pokemon fan at all, but your enthusiasm made this work for me pretty damn well. (Even more than the Mortal Kombat episode, which I'm also no fan of.) Plus, this made it kinda a Nintendo episode, which were always my favorite topics on The Final Bosman. Those will always have 6 immediate bonus points in my book before I even start watching. More please!
