Announcement -- January 16, 2023

Hello all, and Happy New Year.

I'm announcing a tentative return to writing as of today as well as giving the full story of where I've been and what I've been up to.

Firstly, thank you all for your patience and understanding. 

It's been five weeks since I've uploaded any kind of fiction and I'm happy to have something that went up earlier this morning—a long awaited chapter of Booberella. It's a pretty hefty one, too, coming in over 6k words; an improvement over what I've managed recently.

I'm not yet ready to say for certain that I'll upload weekly. 

I will say that I've been hitting word count goals for myself that are on par with what they used to be. However, my involvement with family makes my schedule extremely inconsistent, meaning that editing and uploading are things that I can't guarantee enough to say that I'm making a full return.

But hopefully, soon, I'll work to making a full return.

For those keeping up with the story. . . my Aunt did eventually pass away. It happened over the holidays. We've since held a memorial service, and entertained members of the family as they've come to visit, and are now navigating the grief associated with the loss. 

It's still not easy. 

But the regularity of a schedule is helping, hence the progress I was able to make on a few stories this past week. 

I hope that, soon, that regularity will reflect in my work, and I'll make a full return to you all. I want that to happen as soon as possible, but also want to try to be realistic.

I'm. . . rambling a bit. 

But suffice it to say, thank you all for your continued support throughout my relative silence. Thank you for the private messages and for checking in on me. Thank you for the loyalty, and the stability, and the love. 

I hope to repay all of that in the year moving forward. I have lots of plans that have me excited. 

Can't wait to share them. 

For now, we work on getting regular with writing and uploads.
