Announcement -- June 7, 2022

Quarterly announcement time! 

Hello everyone, just a brief announcement as we approach the middle of the year. Pumping the Breaks concluded and. . . yea, it concluded. I have mixed creative feelings about it and am looking forward to everyone else's input. In addition, Proud Peaks should be reaching its conclusion this or next month, so look forward to the updates coming with that project. 

A few things to discuss moving forward:

1) Break -- I'll be taking my quarterly break at the end of June. I've been burning out a little lately and could use the time for RnR as well as research on future projects. As a result, there will be no story post on the weekend of the 24th. Story updates will resume the following week. 

2) Future Projects -- beginning in July, I want to make good on a few promises and implement changes suggested in the 2022 Poll:

- The return of Super with a chapter that introduces the last viewpoint hero character on the roster. This addition should round out the team for future projects and missions.

- Quickies and Captions. While I do some outlining and prep work for other ( Hucow Corruption, Church of Saint Limey, Blessed Isles, Future Odette Projects, etc.) I will be focusing on putting out more digestible content in chunks that I hope will still be enjoyable for the long-form fans as well. This INCLUDES Patron-voted quickies and captions, which will make a return as soon as, well, next month. The first poll will be going up within a day of this Announcement. 

This may or may not also involve sequels to suggested quickies like Lunch Break and Regret, Revenge, Rekindle. 

- More art and miscellaneous projects. The reception to the artwork by Tourin as well as the artwork on one of the chapters of Pumping the Breaks went well. I'm a LONG way from the fleet of illustrators I want, but I'll be devoting more time in the second half of the year to find quality illustrators to do more work for us. This is third on the list because it is lowest in priority. . . BUT, I intend on at least putting forth the extra effort. And as for the "misc" projects, I'll be taking the feedback I got from the video to heart and doing a bit of supplementary content in WRITTEN form because. . . I'm a writer :D But again, this is low on the priority list. 

3) Future -- I've thought a lot about what the future as a creator might look like and will talk to you all more about those changes moving forward. Specifically, I've thought about the quality of my writing and the upload schedule and the volume of work I want to produce, all of which are a little lower than I'd like. 

Nothing concrete on that yet, but I want my intentions to be out in the open. I want to do MORE and to continue to IMPROVE for you guys--and for myself. Changes to my schedule might be necessary to make that a possibility. So, if and when I come up with a plan of scaling back or ramping up, I'll depend on you all to give me the criticism I know I'll deserve.
