Hey

So you may have noticed that I haven't been here for a while, even when I had a lot for this month. And that is because I got really bad news.

Getting a bit personal, I'm the eldest of my siblings and we were raised by our mom, as our dad died years ago. This has been really hard and sadly, my mom suffered from two strokes a few years ago.

Now, she is in her 50s and has showed sympthoms of early dementia. She has been slowly showing them during the years but it's now that it has gotten serious enough to go to the doctor's and make us realize that we may not have that much time until she needs special care.

It's been really hard seeing her like that.

I have a responsability with my family and need to take care of them, so I had to take a second job to save and be able to afford the care she will be needing. My siblings got jobs as well.

But now I work 9 hours and go to college 6 hours a day and can't keep up with the current load. I don't wanna stop forever, but I need time.

I have unfinished commissions as well as unfinished business with you all, but I need to gather my thoughts and organize my time to be able to draw on the weekends. Althought with a smaller load.

My plan is to first finish commissions and then do what I have pending on here before starting working on new content and charging again. So my Patreon will be on pause for no set amount of time. I won't be charging for the future month.

I'm not asking for anything. I just want to keep doing what I love, but I need to help my family first.
I will be probably posting the Cynthia pic this week and after that, I'm not sure.
