the next version is ready for release. The game is really on track, and nearing completion. I expect there to be ~two more releases until it is finished.
Thank you so much for supporting me! I really hope you enjoy the new version, I've put so much work into it.

New feature:
- Nisha now offers hints on what to tackle next, which helps out if you're stuck and do not know how to progress further. You can find the new option in her menu dialog at the cathedral. I received a lot of feedback that players did not know what to do next, so here you go. This one took me a while, but I wanted to add it before the final release of the game.
Balancing changes:
- I originally intended to do 10 training lessons, but could not think of meaningful content for the tenth one, so the tenth skill point is just available for free at the start of the game (will also work for existing save games)
- Slightly increased starter gold to 75
- Reduced quest 3 princess affection cost to 10
- Reduced quest 4 princess affection cost to 24
- Reduced number of snakes in snake battle in quest 3 to 5
Fixes:
- Fixed nasty eye blink bug that caused eyes to display incorrectly if eye blink took place the same frame as dialog eye changes
- Added proper startup loading screen. The game should now start up immediately and then show a loading screen until loading has finished. Previously there was no feedback to the user that the game is loading.
- Fixed an issue in quest 8 where you have to wait a few days until the princess talks with you again. The counter for this only increased during waiting, not sleeping.
- Fixed a dialog issue with the princess where she would incorrectly talk in her post-quest 8 state if you completed her second private scene too late.
- Slightly adjusted princess leave dialog emotion in throne room
- Combat: Fixed animation delay in bat stance switching animation (to aggressive or to idle). This was especially noticeable with fast combat turned on, where bats seemingly went to aggressive stance way after their original turn.
