Director guy was at least respectful and dropped the pretenses early on, and made a simple offer. Although that's assuming the paparazzi are not in cahoots with the guy and the depraved bitch was acting solo just to ruin her career. I felt a death flag for Akane with how she wants to tackle murder dad by herself and is investigating him. Dude who has a thing for pretty girls and murders them and now one of the most noteworthy ones in the biz is on his trail and she wants to go solo... Hope this isn't where the show is going

2026-03-18 21:19:55 +0000 UTCMaybe im just too naive or whatever term would be better to use but I didnt feel like Shima was that bad, he's absolutely a massive dick considering that the deal for Kana getting the role is basically "sleep with me", not to mention doing this to a young girl no matter how mature Kana is for her age. But thats about the extent of what he is to me idk maybe im just thinking that cuz of the whole "it could have been way worse" thing.

Why can't we just have nice things!?!π I think season 1 & 2 made me forget about the underlying darkness of this show that was inevitably going to take over with time... I was not prepared. This is clearly no longer the funny teenage showbiz anime.
