March Update

Some of you probably know that I’ve been living with chronic pain for the last eight or nine months, and that I’ve had a decent bit of trouble getting to a doctor who could help. I finally had my appointment with a specialist today. It turns out that I have an internal injury that’s developed a relatively serious infection. This explains so much about my symptoms and my experience, like the fact that I’ve gotten sick three separate times since November–four, if you count the ear infection that I currently have. The only real way to move forward is with a surgery, which is scheduled for later this month.
When I got sick earlier this month, all of my motivation for modding disappeared, so I was already preparing a Patreon post where I explained that I was gonna go on my break before finishing everything that I had planned. Today’s news, and the knowledge of my upcoming surgery, just reinforces that decision.
There were a few things I intended to say about my schedule going forward, but I don’t think I can reasonably predict what will happen after my surgery, so I will hold off on that for now. I’ll be sure to keep you all in the loop about how my procedure goes, and of course I’ll also be in discord (although I might take a few days to be alone with my thoughts).
