In Limbo

I felt I owed you an update. Unfortunately, there's not a ton I can say right now. As I hinted at in my last update, January has actually turned out to be a nightmare, and I haven't had much time to sit down and mod. In addition to normal work stress, a couple of other things happened.
- My state governor set up a hotline for people to report history teachers who taught racism and US History in ways that made Republicans uncomfortable.
- My district got rid of almost all COVID protections and is now allowing COVID-positive students to return to school after five days with symptoms as long as those symptoms are "improving." I'm expecting the mask mandate to be gone within a month. The governor has already signed an executive order to this effect.
- And finally, my wife fell at the gym and has been unable to walk without assistance. Caring for her while trying to balance everything at work has been extremely difficult.
I need to wait for this limbo to be over before I can even start thinking about the future. Give me a week, maybe two, and then I'll make another post once I have a chance to figure out what I can do to get things back on track.
