Behind The Scene!! Story Time

Hey my favs!!

https://youtu.be/pRPygEcPZ6U ( Here is the BTS)

Hope you are all well? I wanted to share some behind the scene footage of my upcoming video “Frantic Feathers” with you all as well as a quick story of disaster management during my shoot.

Okay, so i got this farm house as a favour from a friend’s friend who was kind enough to let me shoot there for 2 days (which was the plan)

I went to check out the venue and as per the concept i planed i wanted to have some decoration and create a fun set with streamers etc that gives off this high energy happy vibe. I and my camera person called a decoration guy, he came all the way to the venue (venue was 3 hrs away from me)

We finalised everrything with him, i drew everything on how i wanted what after agreeing to the price and delivery we left but i accidentally left my work phone at the farm house.

Four days later i got my phone back and saw few missed calls by the decor guy. I immediately called him and said i had left my phone. He asked me to pay an advance so i can book him and i immediately did. Now here’s what happened 😒

The guy STOPPED PICKING MY CALLS the very next day! And it was just 4 days left for my shoot. I got a bad feeling and told the coordinator i had hired, to chase him but when he gave vague answers to the coordinator too i knew the guy was gonna ditch and that maybe he was just a scammer. With already too many things on my hand i told my coordinator to arrange for an alternative and sadly he did not find one (or just didnt look hard enough) just one day before the shoot i was totally panicking on what the hell am i gonna do without the decoration in place, and since the location was so out of city not many decorators agreed to take up the project.

Even while driving, the evening before my shoot i was making calls to different vendors, i reached my parent’s which was nearer to the venue and was still making phone calls. In the end nothing worked but i shifted my attention to finding shops that sold the decoration materials, thinking somehow i and my small crew will decorate what we can.

Finally, MORNING of my shoot day lol i found a shop who had all the materials i needed i asked him if he had guys to decorate, he asked me when? I told him in a couple hours and he thought i was totally crazy! Lol

Anyway on the day of the shoot just a few hours before i went to the shop got a whole bunch of decorations (just relying that my camera crew would help me put it up) and drove to the location . Ofcourse i got late, but when i reached i was on everyone’s asses to start everything asap, thankfully there were two care takers of the farm house and those men were super sweet and nice and helped out BIG TIME! With the help of everyone we made our own damn set haha! 😎 Its soo crazy how it worked out, the next day i.e Day 2 the decorations were even better as we added more stuff to the set. Shooting is a constant disaster management and this is sooo true. There were moments in this shoot that gave me sooo much stress ( more on that later) but it all worked out. So in the BTS you can see before and after of the location and here is a photo with one of the two sweet care takers from the venue (ignore my sweaty tired face)
