Tragic Toll

The sea had always been her home, but now it felt like a prison. The constant rocking of the ship made her feel like she was losing her mind. The creaking of the wood and the sound of the waves crashing against the hull were like a never-ending nightmare. It was as if they were calling out to her, beckoning her to come closer. She had been at sea for too long, and it was starting to take its toll on her.
One night, as she lay in her hammock, she heard a strange sound. It was a low, guttural growl that seemed to come from deep within the ocean. She sat up in bed, her heart pounding in her chest. She had never heard anything like it before.
The next night, the sound grew louder. It was as if something ancient and dreadful was calling out to her. She tried to ignore it, but it was impossible. The sound was everywhere - in the creaking of the ship, in the howling of the wind, in the crashing of the waves.
As the days passed, Captain Sadie grew more and more afraid. She knew that something was coming for her, something that she could not escape.
She had been at sea for too long, and it was starting to take its toll on her…
