Luna's act two talk!

The second town is coming out soon and there will be lewd events at every corner.
People are commenting that the lewds to gameplay ratio in Luna feels off!
As in, there is too much H and not enough game.
I can see where these comments are coming from.
It's a difficult balance to strike because when I see tails I lose my mind!!
Now I would like to talk about the randomess or difficulty of getting scenes and what my plan for the game is. Hear me out! This will be a wall of text!
My intention for a lot of the lewd events is to be really random and to surprise the player.
You go to the kitchen, suddenly something happens that you didn't expect. Same with the newly added safe room event and I also planned for the traveling parts to be this way.
The player just roams the game, goes from location A to B and back to A but something different is supposed to happen every time.
This plan goes completely out of the window with the way I currently release updates because the player bee-lines for the new scenes which might be hard to get because they're supposed to be rare or happen on accident!
When it comes to the train I considered if we should not add anything unless there's more locations to travel to and we have a lot train events ready to get added into the game at once.
But then it would also just end with the player spamming the train travels and some people saying it takes too long to get them all and it's boring.
I want events, even in early locations, to be encountered randomly over the course of the whole game.
Just that there is not that much of a game yet because only the first town is properly playable, and there is relatively many H events for few gameplay sections.
I think the end result I have in mind will be really good but it will take a while to get there, and until then the game is simply WIP.
If you read all of this, what is your opinion on it?

I recorded a video for a little (very simple and still WIP!!) sneak section but I might have messed up and taken too long. But I'm sure nothing bad will happen, Luna got this!

2025-05-26 18:58:41 +0000 UTCI think the problem is that the way the system works right now is, you get a portrait of Luna doing something, now you need to go look for it, and you might miss it because you didn't look in the right place, which is fine, but that doesn't really allow for events to happened when you just "stumble" into it, it's incentivized to look for the events, you could add "bait" events, but that would require the game to know the location of the player, basically if you lets say at the Goblin camp, and suddenly there's an event that looks like its at the Guard station, you run from there and on the way you could stumble into Luna doing something else.
