POPs are out in experimental and it's time to get familiar in this step-by-step tutorial!

Through this exercise we learn about attributes, how to create and modify them, create lookups for a similar particle effect my previous two tutorials show, but this time all in POPs! The system reacts nicely to webcam input as well for some instant interactive fun!

hey! ah I see what's happening! You're probably losing frames and the trail gets confused due to Point IDs being reused. The solution is to set the Particle POP's "Point Id Reuse" parameter to "Don't Reuse Point Ids". Let me know if that helps!

hey dan, thank you for the helpful intro to pops. hopefully this is a quick question, i'm following your tutorial but the trail pop begins to glitch out after a few seconds and starts drawing plexus-style lines across the canvas. I'm on a mac, so I'm not sure if this is just an experimental build issue. was this something you encountered? thank you for the help.
