A project file for you to dissect. Using ComplexOp/GLSL to instance shapes and adding some nice noise to the position/scale in the process. The component (INSTANCING) lends itself to ready to use audioreactive parameters.
When it comes to position "Noise Mask Exponent" lets you affect only the darker instances, which I find quite nice (similar to the effectors in my lates particlesGpu post).
You can experiment with more ComplexOP shapes, there are quite a few nice ones!
