TL;DR I ordered the 100 EUR USB Controller that Orbbec was validated on. Still crap. Suspecting I'm not at fault here... Which I hoped I was!

Nothing reassuring so far. Derivative looking into it, seems like they only tested with a Mega in-house which I'd say is an oversight. They are reaching out to Orbbec

Maybe there is some link with the usb drivers? Libusb k seemed to work with amd systems. Also I have amd 7945hx Lenovo legion 7 pro laptop and a desktop 5600x amd pc with rog strix b550i does this has the same ASmedia usb chipset? I’ll need to check Both ran the Kinect v2 well
