Xai in Danger

Yes, I know I literally drew the same thing recently, with Xai taking part in the first Kaa encoutner, wrappedin Kaa's coils while he says the same line basically lol.

But I dunno I just started drawing this and then I liked it and wanted to finish it haha.

I'm not sure why Xai was travelling with Ruby, but I guess they do need to hang out more. At least, if they can make it out of this tree without becoming a midnight snack to a hypnotic serpent.

It's all on Ruby now, Xai's out of the fight.
That is, if she even realises in time to be rescuing a hypnotized raccoon in a coil burrito and not a mysterious bulge somewhere along Kaa's long body.

I opted for not adding shading/highlights to this one because I wanted it to feel a bit more like the classic jungle book scene feel. In the lat one I drew that was, again, pretty much the same as that right panel here, I did a full set of detailed shading with like tree shadows and everything, it was all very shaded and with glows and highlights and textures.

But then I ended up preferring the plain version without the highlights anyway XD
So, just omitted it this time.

Let's hope Xai enjoys his trip!
