I’ll definitely do both of those, I somewhat know the director of the first one through a mutual friend, I’ve always intended to interview him for that franchise video. He said a while back like two years ago that he would be down for it when the time came.

2025-04-16 21:55:50 +0000 UTCSame here, I actually thought it was very funny that a lot of it is riffing on season 3 of twin peaks that obviously didn’t exist when the first one came out. I thought it was a gorgeous game visually, a big step up for them as a studio in basically all regards but still not my thing. I thought the first three or so hours were masterful, if it kept that pace and tone I would have really loved it. But I felt like after the dead body comes back to life in the morgue it suddenly becomes much more classically video game like to me in a negative way. I also thought he final boss was really bad and kind of tainted the ending.

I’ll work on them when I can, probably once every month or every other just based on my workload. I want to get it done within two or so years though. At the moment I’m just planning for this to cover the original series, but if people like it and want it to stick around then I wouldn’t be against going on with the reboots as well.
