Patreon Poll and New Darksides: In a Violent Nature
Added 2024-11-19 04:08:03 +0000 UTCHey everyone, hope you like this one. Also I should have done this last time but included here is a poll to vote for how you would like to receive these. It doesn't matter to me, I can either save them and upload them for you all once per week so you have a steady stream of them, or I can put them on here as they are finished which will result in some gaps between content sometimes but you'll have them as early as possible. Either way works, I'll do whichever the results of the poll says. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, are the Darksides videos going to be posted on the main channel at any point? These newer vids are really great, but I feel they totally fit within IPOS as a channel dedicated to horror media analysis. Especially with "In a Violent Nature" being one of the most talked-about horrors of the year (at least here in the UK), I can't help but feel like these vids are part of what attracted me to IPOS in the first place.

2024-11-19 14:53:05 +0000 UTCI voted for when they are finished but it would be a good idea to create a backlog of shorts kept in storage for release during longer droughts in content. Like if you got sick or the hurricanes become a more yearly problem

2024-11-19 13:21:08 +0000 UTCi like your videos, obviously, but i have never felt you were as wrong as you were about this movie. just because not-jason wears a mask doesn't mean you cant form a connection with him. for example, in my favourite kill, he sets the rangers arm on the logging machine and waits for the axe to chop it off, and it takes so long that he gets bored and decides to go for the head instead of follow through with the other limbs. thats funny! he gets bored! he gets hurt, emotionally, in the toy car scene. i dont know man. i dont think all horror is about love, but theres a lot of it in this movie, even if you gotta get past the nature shots
