I don't know if I fixed it, or if it was ever even broken.

Phantom lights, blasts from the past car in need of constant attention and a good old diagnosis of the professional variety—what more can I guy or gal ask for from a content creator? Well done sir—two more fixed!

Dunno how a shop could afford to have a diagnostic employee, barring some sort of flat-rate fee-for-Service. Not sure how most shops can afford to keep parts-changers on the payroll, either, given the costs involved.

"Is it safe?" Many of us, of an age, just had a flashback to a dustin Hoffman movie from long, long, ago :-)

That was the main issue I sent it in for! They did resolve that, replaced bulbs and motors, put on a better-condition less-faded background, and a bunch more. Overall it’s a pretty good $200ish investment in my opinion

No, conventional filament bulb. Honestly it's really not a big deal more of a annoyance.

They seem to have figured it out. Newer board don't seem to have issues. I think these were kind of the first go with it.

Right! I'm not sure why you need it anyway. It has a volt meter.

Is it an LED? Actually, I'm at a loss for an explanation either way.

Weird. The most common thing I see is the odometer only showing up when it feels like it.

I've used Nord VPN for several years and have not had any problems. Tools would be ok as well. If there is one you would like to get behind. I don't think you would do knowingly represent crap!

Yeah, that lead-free solder can be a real problem...grows tendrils that can eventually cause short circuits. I guess there's a very specific method for using it "correctly" one needs to follow, unlike the good old 60/40 stuff that just worked

I have a very similar issue with my 98 CRV, when the engine is running and the headlights are off if it's dark you can just barely see the HighBeam light is glowing, if the headlights are switched on it goes away. I've tried everything to find the cause but just gave up.

As somebody who owns a 2003 sierra, let me tell ya, there seems to be little in the way of rhyme or reason behind cluster issues. My cluster needed work so i sent it to a company that remans yours and ships it back. When I installed, things were all kinds of funky. I thought they messed it up, but unplugging it and plugging it back in fixed everything. I think the multi pin connectors dont allow for a super repeatable contact. Even now, my hi beam indicator alternates between insanely, painfully bright, or so dim it barely shows in the dark. Dont know if thats the repair place’s fault or another plug-related thing, so I’ve been living with it. Afraid another removal or install could make things worse

Maybe that AutoZone is overstocked on Chevy V8 starters or the counter guy is psychic and the starter is going to fail in the near future. Better still the counter guy owns a 20 year old Chevy Truck and right after the battery light dimmly illuminated the starter failed; or there's a TSB on such an occurrence..please somebody stop me...
