On The Spot Mixing: Punk Drums

Before I get into, I am SO SORRY for the delay on my mic. It threw me off quite a bit when talking so if I sound high I am not 😂, but despite the mispronunciations and such, hope this video helps.
I ran into a problem previously with the drums not hitting properly and not cutting through the mix in certain areas so today we fixed that up a little and added a bit more spice to the drum bus.

2023-04-20 01:56:31 +0000 UTCGenerally I don’t. Unless it has some heavy low end and might cause problems with the bass. But I’ll usually try to get the drums to smack as much as possible before I start to go into detail and sidechain things other than the kick and snare
