"Now, how about I check out the quality of our recruits?" Silver asked out loud as he walked to his table in his Office
Though, not that it matters, I'll make everyone here become a Level 4 adventurer at the very least.
Because to go beyond and step into the ranks of First Class adventurers, the person in question would need to go in one Hell of an adventure.
Though as long as they put in the effort, Level 4 should be easy to acquire… Hum… Not everyone here are warriors…
That complicates things…
'Going over many hypothetical and meaningless scenarios in his head, Silver eventually sat down and pulled over the stack of papers.'
"Let me take a look… First… Oh, it's Hiva, one of the Mages of the Familia."

"That's quite some growth." He said with an approving nod as he tapped his fingers on the table
The past recruitment was in the first week of March, and we're currently at the end of the first week of September.
It's been almost exactly six months since she and the others became adventurers.
I'm proud, this amount of progress is no easy feat.
Had she been a mercenary prior to becoming an adventurer or someone more acquainted with it, then I would've understood, but she was just a normal person who read too many books.
Trained warriors tend to grow faster as they don't need to catch up Skills and can just go straight into more dangerous scenarios.
Because what ends up killing newbies isn't their strength but their lack of wit and proper decision-making abilities.
Even in a situation where people could be at the edge of despair, throwing away their rationale to run in fear would only lead to their deaths, but if they fought united with a single purpose in mind, it may be possible for all to come out alive.
Though adventurers are only people in the end, full of flaws and mistakes.
I'm no different, I just experienced a bit more.
Nonetheless, I'm proud.
She grew extendedly, with almost 1500 total Stats in half a year, That's about 8.3 stats per day, and that is not small, it's massive.
A few times that would be what someone would make from an Expedition, but she was doing that daily.
However if she can make that 3000 by another half year then she would already be at the Upper stages of most Adventurers.
If she can make it 3500, that would be enough to stand on the same stage as Ais, Bete, and other prominent First Class adventurers.
She has potential, but I think it'll be hard for her to maintain this.
She is a good representation of what consistent training and good discipline can do to an Adventurer, however, basic training only has some effect on the Low Levels, even if she can Level up with great stats, it would be something else to maintain that later on.
She and many others no doubt.
"But this is a good start, if even a third of our members grow as well as her, I would be satisfied." Silver said with a nod as he put her update aside
Though… I feel a bit sorry…
She worked so much in these past few days that her Vitality went up despite only doing physical labor in the Manor…
They sure need time off.
"Then… Next…" He said as he pulled the next paper

It's been just a month since she became Level 2, and she grew by a bit over 100 Stats.
She did take it a bit easy at first together with the fact she had to stay here helping with the preparations, so I can take some of that time as well.
It's good enough progress, and although she may not be anything special, she is still a proud member of the Hestia Familia.
And I'll turn her into a fine adventurer.

They go very well with one another, they just need some Skills and magic for them to truly shine out there.
Though they all share this Vitality growth... Was it that consuming to prepare for this?
... I want to assign some people to train the recruits but at this rate, it may be too much to have someone take over this role.
I can do it, but not for long, I have plans for this month.
I'll figure something out.

'As he finished reading the Statuses of his Executives, a smile formed on his face.'
Their training has paid off.
'Obviously, He wasn't talking about the basic training I had everyone do during the first month so they could get used to physical exercise, I'm talking about something more intense.'
'For example, Cassandra's Magic Stat growth was thanks to her constantly practicing her chant so she could learn how to do Concurrent Chanting to become less of a target on the battlefield by being immobile.'
'And due to the fact she was the sole healer of the Familia, she was in charge of healing everyone that came back regardless of their condition, it was something Silver told her to do and something she was happy to do as well.'
'Thanks to that, most of them would hold onto their use of their potions once they were after the Dungeon unless the situation was truly critical, though thankfully, nothing of the sort ever happened.'
'Either way, the more she practiced and used it, the better she became.'
'It's important to say she's been using her magic like never before, because even during her time under Apollo, she used her magic regularly.'
'But that wasn't enough for Silver, usage without proper routine would lead nowhere.'
'That was shown by how her Treatment Development Ability was raised to H from I.'
'Silver wished that with this level of training and dedication, she would be able to receive the Healing Development ability, and even if she failed in doing so, at least the Mage DA.'
'Otherwise… It would definitely be the Abnormal Status resistance.'
"Abnormal resistance..."
Something I've had mandatory in the entire Familia… Poison consumption.
Every Adventurer needs a way to deal with poison or such abnormal conditions in the Dungeon, the entire Middle Floors are full of it, and as you go through the Dungeon, poison or even other forms of attacks become more common.
There's a reason why 80% of all Level 3 adventurers and above end up getting Abnormal Resistance as one of their DAs.
The poison I had them all drink wasn't strong, it was more of a sleep medicine.
Once every few days, they would all drink it, of course, it wasn't easy to convince them all to do it, but I started with a small group, the Executives.
The results were very positive, but that's because this is an easy DA to acquire, almost as 'easy' as Hunter… Okay, I'm being too positive here, Hunter is way harder.
Still, both have very cemented acquiring methods, though following through with them is a different matter.
To acquire Abnormal Resistance, you just need to do that, to be exposed to something abnormal.
The easiest way is the Purple Moth poison that appears on the 7th floor, however, for most Level 1 adventurers, it can be a bit much to go there and take a whiff of that powder.
Not recommended to actually ingest it, much less sniff it…
The danger of being poisoned in the Dungeon is higher than the poison itself, that is how insignificant the poison is.
It works more as an extra bother than anything else, but that's enough for an Upper Floor poison.
It can kill a normal person if they're too weak, a child will die within a few days after severe fever if left untreated.
And it's not hard at all to treat it, if someone died due to it then it was definitely due to the poison itself.
Unless someone is particularly unlucky…
Now, that was for Cassandra, I believe that she'll still grow very much in the following few months.
She is already reaching her limits set by her first Level Up, so unless she breaks through her past limitations, she'll be forced to seek an adventure soon or stagnate.
Time will tell what she'll be capable of doing, until then, she'll keep practicing.
As for Daphne, she's a bit different.
Since she's a close-quarters warrior, she has a few other options for Development Abilities, and since I have the Guild's DA records… I can set up a path for her.
She likes to use a swordsmanship that mixes fast and precise attacks with her firm muscles, so something that could add to that would be ideal.
Also, one of her Skills and her Magic both raise her Vitality, so if she can also gain a DA that raises it, she could boost her own bodily constitution to the next Level if not to the standards of a Level 4.
This is because they are two rather extreme Vitality-increasing abilities.
Her Skill also raises her Agility considerably, so if she can put her coins into that then she would come out on top as well.
To be an Adventurer is to specialize in a task because otherwise, you would not be able to keep up with a monster's growth ratio.
That doesn't mean it's wise to put everything into a single Stat, it would be impressive to actually be able to just raise one thing though…
Raising one thing is the same thing as functionally turning yourself useless.
It's through the process of assigning priorities to all Stats that adventurers fulfill their roles by finding a team where their strengths are maximized and their weaknesses are minimized.
That is how the concept of Primary and Secondary Stats was born.
Both Daphne and Cassandra have grown immensely, not only in their Stats but also in their mentality.
With her growth as a person, Daphne has managed to somehow abandon Apollo and is now training her Magic in a more consistent manner, and although I don't expect it to ever turn into some sort of Self Enchant Magic, Daphne's Magic has the potential to become something she'll be remembered for whenever they think of her.
Though that may be why she is so stingy with using her Skill, since it modifies her skin to look like bark, making her look older than she actually is…
I can't say much about that.
Cassandra is still a bit of a child mentally, but with her friend's help, she's growing up, one step at a time.
'Silver rested his head on his right hand as he closed his eyes, putting the paper aside as he pulled a new one.'
'There were still many to go through.'
…
/Later…/
“Alright… I'm done with the updates, from here on out, these should be the newcomers.” Silver said with a slight yawn
Hestia came by the Office and told me we had quite a few talents this time around, I’ll see that for myself.

>Rein Amur
>Hemor Grasp
----------------------------------
"She is not exactly a newcomer, but she has yet to go through any training."
She joined a week ago and she already has stats… Honestly, it's actually pretty slow, but she didn't train at all.
She was still recovering from a fatal injury, doing anything should’ve put quite a strain on her body, and she ran all around trying to help others.
I tried to stop her, but she seemed eager to do something, so I let her be.
Though I hope she isn’t too stressed out, I did try my best to ease her pain.
Cassandra can provide healing through her Skill, but it can't remove soreness or other types of pain.
As for these numbers... The only thing here that matters is her Skill.
Rein Amur, a Skill that allows her to borrow the Stats of others by causing a Rhaspsodia, a phenomenon similar to Limit Off.
A Rhaspsodia is a form of resonance between the Falnas of multiple individuals that belong to the same Familia, allowing them to share their own Statuses with one another.
Her Skill, however, 'only' allows her to borrow the plain Stats of someone, causing their own Stats to diminish while she’s borrowing them, I can't say if the reduction is proportional to what she consumes though.
If she could borrow Skills and other things too I would even dare say she’d become the greatest adventurer there ever was.
There are conditions for this Skill to activate, and who she can borrow from is predetermined by her before her Skill activates, so she can’t switch after things are rolling.
A slight limitation, but nothing hard to overcome.
This is a rare Skill, and rare isn’t something the Guild labels often… Duh.
I read it in one of their books, I’m thankful for the Guild being so transparent with me regarding their Stash, must be due to how I'm supporting them with several of their secretive problems...
However, I imagine they realized they couldn’t really keep anything from me the moment I learned where they kept all of their confidential books.
I swear I learned by mistake… They have a secret Library beneath the Guild in the hidden tunnels next to Ouranos' throne room.
That's where the books and records related to old Familias like Osiris, Hera, and Zeus are kept, together with anything they don't wish the public to know, likely things like the Ancient times, the Black Dragon, and other scarier things.
Plots I have no idea of and secrets I'm too weak to confront.
Either way, just with this alone, she’ll be able to explode in her growth as long as she has the heart to.
She may be unable to borrow my Stats, likely due to the difference between us, but at the very least she can borrow the Stats of other Veteran Level 1 and 2 adventurers.
I can’t say if it’s possible to extend this to Level 3 as well, though we may be able to check this soon once someone does Level up.
Also, she can only borrow from one person as of now, but Skills tend to grow as someone learns to how utilize them well, especially rare Skills with rather abnormal working methods and effects.
If she can borrow from 3 or 4… Even 5 or 6… Then she would be able to select the best Stats out of everyone.
Taking the side effects of doing so are manageable... Since as of right now, she gets very tired whenever the Skill effects ends, she and the person she borrowed the Stats from.
As for her other Skill… It manifested from her recent traumatic experience.
Bleeding out, she fought for her life and saw death wave at her.
It’s a simple Skill that gifts her Physical Resistance, it also raises her Vitality when she’s bleeding, helping her close wounds.
A pretty solid Skill.
“A sweet girl with a heavy punch, like a rose with a thorn?... Hum… Doesn’t fit.” Silver said as he shook his head
She's too sweet to have thorns.

What's written here?...
Raises abilities against creatures she’s unaware of, knows little of, and never received Excelia from?
Hunter improves abilities against monsters that the user has fought before and gained Excelia from...
This is pretty much the other end of Hunter… But as a Skill.
It’s not bad, but I wonder if it's worth it…
The more you know about your enemy, the better you can fight against it.
For her to make use of her abilities, it would mean she would have to pursue the airhead lifestyle.
Monster? Just bash its head! Or something like that…
Well, she definitely can’t be a leader, but she can act as a good vanguard… As long as she has someone to give her orders at all times.
Why think if someone can do that for you?
She’ll be another great Vanguard depending on how strong her Skill is.

A cat girl whose ability is… Drugs?
What an odd combination.
In simple terms, her Skill is constantly activated.
It manifests in the form of a very faint sweet aroma that causes all beings to see her in a better light, the closer they are to her, the less inclined to attack her they become and the more friendly they turn.
The effects diminish if they're aware of it.
This could be enough to bring a neutral person to become friendly, and a hostile to become neutral to her presence.
However, she can activate this Skill.
When done so, her allies will have their basic abilities increased slightly and a reduction in their pain sensitivity while her enemies will grow confused the more they inhale her fragrance.
This effect doesn’t come for free, her Skin will get dry and she’ll get tired, having to sleep to recover and hydrate herself plenty.
Allies will also get a splitting headache afterward and they’ll definitely fall in shock from the pain suddenly appearing as the effects of her Skill vanishes, so fixing themselves up before that happens is a must.
Obviously, this only works with the people with the same Falna as her, if she uses it amidst another Familia, they’ll get confused depending on their Status.
I like it, a Skill I haven’t seen before, though I'm unsure if I should classify it as a Poison Skill...
There are still a few more before this ends.

Another Noble girl from outside Orario, there are many of them but I didn't expect to have a few gather under me.

Her two Skills are meant to symbolize her honor and desire to be noble.
Never Retreat strengthens Karen's status as long as she is fighting one-on-one.
While Noblesse Oblige strengthens Karen's strength and agility when attacking an opponent she's facing directly.
It has to be seen if her Skill still works in one against many situations, but if it does, she would be another potential candidate for a Vanguard.
However, she'll need to learn discipline, I have the suspicion she's one of those people who'll stand against an enemy no matter the odds...
And that may be brave, but it's nothing short of foolish.
The biggest friend of an adventurer is their feet, so use them, run away...

Does this mean her magic is a damn lottery draw?
“... I’ll leave this for later…” He said as he shook his head unwilling to think about it any further
Inconsistency can both save and kill in the Dungeon.
Her magic might be completely random, but it could be possible to control it.
If it works with variables and if she understands said variables, then even if she cannot guarantee something, she could possibly prevent something like an offensive spell from turning into a mass healing for a monster.
Her magic would also change if she acquired the Mage Development ability.
The potential of an adventurer is boundless, one should not despair at their lack of ability and instead seek it out.

“A Sorceress…” He said out loud as he read Hestia’s notes
A rare Renard and a Shrine Maiden from the Far East...
She does look very capable, the Stats rarely lie.
Her first Magic, Ryojin-hisho is a target buff Spell.
To cast it, she must perform a ritual dance and chant at the same time, so yes, this means she can Concurrent Chant, but only in her dance, she can’t do other things aside from dancing.
If she finishes her dance, she’ll buff herself, purifying herself of Abnormal Statutes and even curses while protecting her from them for a set amount of time.
It’s a strong Spell, but it takes a lot of preparation, concentration, and Mind.
There is a way to make it stronger.
If seven more girls join her, chanting and dancing with her, the effects of her Magic grow stronger and she can also apply the effect to all eight of them while also dividing the Mind load between them.
The more in synchrony they are, the faster the Spell can be cast and the stronger it becomes, and if they’re all Virgins, the effects reach their pinnacle.
Unfortunately, she can only use the Spells on the girls that dance, otherwise, this Spell’s importance would’ve been increased in my books right to the very top with the likes of Haruhime’s Level Boost.
Next, Harae.
Harae is the same thing as her dace, she purifies someone and heals them slightly.
It’s a target Spell, simple and effective, faster but weaker for the cost of being able to target others aside of herself.
However, she can use more Mind and further her chant to cast Ōharae, an area version of that same Spell.
Lastly, Hinnagami is a form of Curse she can apply on herself to induce an effect.
She creates a small doll, using materials around her and once the Spell is finished, the doll comes to life.
She can then use the doll for all kinds of things, scouting, fighting, or even taking damage on someone’s behalf, but she’ll be cursed each time she gives the doll an order, the curses are proportional to the difficulty and danger of the task.
She can use Harea to purify herself, but that would be an extreme level of expenditure in the Dungeon.
“It’s an effective combo, and she was blessed with all three Magic slots and they complement each other, she is the case of someone doing what they were born for.” Silver said with a yawn
