I have worked at a Local Game Store in my hometown. Up until this video, I have not seen someone articulate the actual opinion and magic (no pun intended) of experiencing a community driven game in real time. MTG has meant a lot to people through tournaments, trinkest and just general fun with cards no one ever covers or talks about. Not everything is about Jace the Mindsculptor. Some things are only explaniable through smaller things, such as a plastic statue of a bull man that meant something to the players and employees. Love the video, keep up the amazing work 🙏.

I remember you saying something in a podcast about wanting to record the cultural influence and history of magic, and this video really resonated with me for that. The voiceovers and pics of early early magic were probably not easy to find, and tying them into a narrative and immortalizing them is admirable. Thank you for preserving the history of this game lovingly but not whitewashing it. The feelings of resentment towards the playerbase are a really interesting thorn in Wotc's original outlook that needed to be recorded. Great work
