Meal Break

The food they're having is a Yanrong snack, different fillings and broths are served with thin wraps made from rice, one can choose the fillings they like and after they've finished wrapping, they'll pour a spoonful of broth into it and eat it immediately before making the next one.

Yanrong is a broad term describing both a geological locale as well as, areas covered by the Yanrong Net. Because of the mountainous terrain, the Yanrong region in history had never formed large concentrated urban areas, instead people lived in small and medium-sized settlements scattered amongst the mountains, largely undisturbed by dynasties outside.
In Blue Heaven's time, the Empire expanded coverage of the Blue Heaven network into the Yanrong region, not by constructing Masternodes but via building a subnetwork of specialised servers. This was partly due to the technical limitations and difficulties in logistics moving materials around, more importantly, the region lacked a unified governing body so deployment of Blue Heaven had to be negotiated town by town, village by village. Because not every town would agree to host Imperial infrastructure (furthermore, even towns that have previously agreed might also roll back their decision), the subnetwork model would provide much more flexibility establishing/maintaining Blue Heaven's presence in the region. Scaled-down local servers have limited computational power and range but can be quickly constructed or dismantled, together they form the Yanrong Net, making Yanrong a unique region that is at the same administrative level within the Empire as other regions but does not have a Masternode.
