Folks, IMHO, you shortchanged Third Bass. They had unparalleled serious cred in the underground hip hop scene. When "Product of the Environment" dropped way back in '88, we black proletarian youth were all like, yep white dudes can hang, and with zero patronizing minstrel elements. They even dragged Vanilla Ice for emphasis. It's ironic also that they get repeated honorable mentions from the Hot 97 crowd while the white hip hop 'experts' remain silent. Plus their turntablist Richie Rich was black, so they also ticked the integration box.

I'll never forgive Eminem for assaulting Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at the MTV awards.

No, someone I don’t know during a discussion of this article (only in Italian alas): “Foreigners in the Homeland: Migration and Italian Trap”. https://www.dinamopress.it/news/stranieri-patria-le-migrazioni-la-trap-italiana/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3oWMY5r9-ZoM3RGsybZBteJWzoa_Yb-N0s9RUbmcjmKKO4hH5s6CIWdtY_aem_ffE7IeSvMq-YdN_BBki5RQ

An Italian Marxist recently described Italian trap music as: “the glorification of Mafia-style turbo-capitalism: delinquency as the form of primitive accumulation”
