Hyperthyroidism, the root cause and what to do about it.

We live in an epidemic of women being diagnosed with "hyperthyroidism" and prescribed "thyroid medication."

hyper = excess
thyra = door
iod = shape
thyroid = door shape
ism = system / condition

hyperthyroid = excess thyroid condition. Hyperthyroidism can be described as the excessive functional activity of the thyroid gland in western medicine.

Diagnosis:
Blood tests that measure the hormones T-4 and T-3 and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) can confirm a diagnosis of hyperthyroidism. A high level of T-4 and a low level of TSH is common in people with hyperthyroidism.

Post diagnosis:
Western medicine doctors will prescribe you with with a life long medication. The main types used are carbimazole and propylthiouracil. You'll usually need to take the medicine for 12 to 18 months/ the rest of your life. You may also be given another medicine called a beta blocker to help "relieve" some of your symptoms in the meantime.

"Hyperthyroidism" can lead to infertility and other reproduction-related problems, including loss of pregnancy, menstrual disruptions, and preeclampsia.

T3 & T4
Thyroid hormones (THs) -- thyroxine (T4) and tri-iodothyronine (T3) -- are iodinated derivatives of the amino acid tyrosine, which regulates growth, development and critical metabolic functions +++ more.

Tyrosine, phenylalanine and tryptophan are the three aromatic amino acids (AAA) involved in protein synthesis. These aromatic amino acids are benzene rings that capture photons of light just like a basket ball through a hoop. The hoop is the benzene ring and the ball is a photon of light.

You must not look at a photon of light as simple energy. But more like light information.

What western medicine fails to realise is that Tyrosine needs to interact with AM sunlight to create T3 & T4.

You don't need medication to fix your thyroid problems. You instead need to address your light environment, leptin resistance and external stressors.

Once again our body is designed to work in perfect harmony with the environment in which it is no way seperate form. It is when we alter our environment that we see a rise in light sickness such as hyperthyroidism.

So what do I need to do to fix hyperthyroidism?

The best and most effective way to fix hyperthyroidism is cold thermogenesis. Although in my opinion you need to ensure a lack of leptin resistance before embarking on the cold story. Once you reverse leptin resistance, getting cold while watching the sunrise is a must.

Depending on the health of your client, some actions may need to be more extreme than others. I always recommend my clients take a two week vacation to the beach and swim at sunrise daily if they have this condition. If they can't afford a vacation the next step would be to watch the sunrise in minimal clothing and practice "shivering." As their leptin resistance reverses you can implement a full thermogenesis protocol utilising a bath tub and ice, but ideally. you want them outside in some sort of pool ideally metal.

Remember that slow and steady wins the race. Progress is better than perfection.

Remember that as your client gets better their hormones (clocks) will be changing and they will need emotional support. I find that being realistic and explaining the process to them helps soothe their worriers and creates a problem free transition. Explain to them that they may be more emotional than usual and this is all a representation of the work that is happening internally.
