This is your (mostly) monthly work in progress update, where I detail what I've been working on and when you can expect to see it. Hope you all are enjoying the playoffs and World Series so far, they've been pretty stellar.
The next episode of Baseball Bits is a follow-up of sorts. It'll commemorate the five year anniversary of The Athletic article that broke open the Houston Astros Cheating Scandal. I made a video covering it then, but I'll be updating that video with a full breakdown of what happened, when it happened, where it happened, why it happened, and who was involved. A critical re-examination of everything now that the dust has settled.
I'll be reliant on five new sources of info since my video: Manfred's report, Tony Adams' Sign Stealing Scandal research (pictured above), Andy Martino's book, Evan Drellich's book, and the PBS Frontline Documentary.
It'll be ambitious and long, but my hope is to tell the complete tale of what happened and let everyone decide for themselves what the legacy of the 2017 Astros should be. Also new patrons through 10/25 will get their names in the credits.
Hoping to get this video out on October 31st, but might have to wait for November 1st.
You can also expect the Foolish 50 reaction later in November.
