lil preview + BIG SAPPY THANK YOU

Yo gamers! I'm SUPER excited and relieved to say this is the final update about this project before it's out and ready for all my fishing freaks to watch. And I just wanted to take the time to extend an extra special ultra big thank you for the support. I talk about it a little in the vid itself but the reason this project took up half of the year wasn't merely that it's the longest video I've ever made, but because I had to remake it from scratch after dealing with some really cringe Long Covid symptoms that had me feeling really rough and uncertain for a while. The TL;DR version is after I had Covid really bad at the beginning of summer I was left dealing with this crazy brain fog and like super nerfed lung capacity over the next couple of months. Not to be vulnerable on the TL but it was a pretty dark place for me and had me in a space where it felt like I was running in my sleep or something, like I was working really hard on this big project but barely moving forward. I got back to 100% my gamer self in early September and realized that all the work I'd put in while I was sick was like...not mine, if that makes sense. It just felt super all over the place and whatever ideas I'd originally had for it simply weren't in my head anymore. Like all the snow that had been clouding my thoughts had melted. So when I cleared back up, I had to decide whether I should cancel this thing that I'd promised people and put so much time into so I could get back to releasing videos and streaming, or grit my teeth and try to finish it. And, I don't know, I felt like I owed it to people - and myself - to see it through. So the video you're gonna see in a little is the product of that very weird and unique process of making almost an entire video, scrapping all of it, and then starting over from scratch a few months ago. And it's (a tiny little bit near the end) about the weird feelings that come along with it, and what happens when you maybe aren't as okay as you're trying to be. But mostly it's just about how much I love Lupin III!

ANYWAYS all that is to say that I'm grateful. This video and more broadly this channel wouldn't be possible without you guys and it's never lost on me how extremely privileged I am to have support for the funky lil' projects I make. Truly and deeply, I appreciate it.
