The Human Future: Release Date announcement

Save the date! The official release for Chapter 1 of THE HUMAN FUTURE is August 15, 2023. In just a few short weeks the film will be yours.

This chapter is titled A CASE FOR OPTIMISM. To be honest, when I began this project, I was preparing to make a doomer-style "final warning" video for humanity. But over the last two years, while researching and reading more deeply into this vast topic, my mindset has flipped completely. I now think that despite the major threats we face, humans will continue our astounding progress and reach transcendent futures sooner than we might think.

Pessimism for our future is everywhere. And to some degree it is warranted. But the case for being optimistic is much stronger -- and will be necessary for realizing the future of our dreams. With the opening chapter of this film series, I hope to paint humanity's prospects in a whole new light, one that will make you feel a sense of pride and excitement, while not shying away from the very real risks we face.
